ADDISON ROAD
O
7mm Scale/32mm Gauge

In early 2008, T&DMRC began work on an ambitious new O Gauge project based on Addison Road station on London’s West London line. This station will be better known to many of you by its current name – Kensington (Olympia). The Club chose this station as Club members have a wide selection of stock and trains from all the Big Four railway companies can be run and yet be prototypically correct.

The Club’s Addison Road Group has researched the prototype thoroughly and this layout promises to be the Club’s most prototypically accurate project to date. This layout, approximately fifty feet long and with baseboards nearly five feet wide, will also be the Club’s largest ever project. This ambitious undertaking was only made possible by the Club’s move to its new larger clubroom which will allow regular running sessions once the layout is finished.

The Club welcomes modellers of all abilities to come and join the team building Addison Road. Potential members should contact the Addison Road Group Leader – Grant Alderson at: aldersong@btopenworld.com
