AMBITIOUS PLANS ANNOUNCED FOR NEW EXHIBITION LAYOUT

T&DMRC's committee have recently given the tentative go-ahead to an ambitious new project which should form the basis for several new 16.5mm gauge exhibition layouts over the next few years. The basic concept is for a layout approximately 30' x 9' with a “common fiddle yard” and a choice of drop-in fronts - which could be British Modern Image, British Steam Era, American, European, etc.

It is hoped that work can start shortly with a view to having a completed layout ready for our projected 50th anniversary exhibition in 2011. Whilst the committee still need to approve the final plan, Club members hope to show proposed designs at the Club's Open Day on 19th July,

This is a very exciting and ambitious project - in order to get in on the ground floor why not pay the Club a visit or phone 01932 783253 for more details?
