RICA LUNO
Gm
13.5mm/ft on 45mm Gauge
Rica Luno is a station serving a village on the outskirts of a large city, "somewhere in Europe". It is the country terminus of the electric railway / tramway serving the city, and the interchange point with the steam and diesel services of the National Railway system.

As you view the scene, electric trains enter from the right, sharing the line with National Rail services from the junction, a few hundred metres away, at Klakisinko, just out of sight. Electric passenger services all terminate here, but freight is transferred to and from National Rail services. Passengers may, of course transfer to the National Rail locomotive hauled trains and diesel railcars, which provide a regular service.

The model is our attempt to create the atmosphere of the "European Narrow Gauge " rather than having any pretence of following a specific prototype. You may see Central European four-wheel trams alongside a steam loco from North Germany, and a Swiss electric railcar, without, we hope, any of them looking too out of place!
