The Club regularly takes its "Model Railway Roadshow"
to various locations around the borough. This is all part
of the club's policy of taking the hobby of model railways
to a wider public, those who wouldn't normally visit a model
railway exhibition.
The theme is very much to attract newcomers to the hobby
and there is no charge for entry. This is not a model railway
exhibition in the traditional sense, but certainly is an event
that will hopefully introduce the hobby to a whole new audience.
