Rica Luno is everything that
is not normally expected of a G scale layout.
It is an indoor layout, sized at approximately 15ft x 3ft!
Whilst some layouts in this scale are used for live steam and
radio control models on circular, this one uses a very finely
detailed scenic small through station with an off-scene junction
behind part of the backscene creating an atmosphere of narrow
gauge railway and tramway in an unspecified european location.
One of the buildings on this layout has won an international
award.
The group who have constructed (and are continuing to superdetail)
this layout are highly enthusiastic and make up one of the
largest groups in the club. They are making maximal use of
the scale in the pursuit of fine detail.
Watch out for this one at exhibitions; it is starting on
the rounds. It is unusual and well worth seeing.
