Milton ‘N’ (Privately Funded Project)

This project represents a new approach to layout building within the club and is privately funded with each 3ft module owned by the participating member; it is to a large extent a skills improvement exercise and is not intended as an exhibition layout - but then again…

Eight identical modules in a 4 x 2 formation join together to form, with two end boards, a single continuous run layout.

All baseboard components were jig cut to ensure good alignment and are of a ‘box’ construction with integral back-scene board and lighting pelmet.

The country side

The layout is now essentially complete with the continuous run having a townscape on one side and ‘country’ on the other. The two end boards are not sceniced.
